    Job Summary:
    Assistant Manager Conversion Payroll is expected to provide production oversight, performance management, coaching and feedback and partner engagement for Plan Technical Support (PTS) teams at Great-West Global. PTS supports payroll implementation and online enrollment activity at a plan level for new as well as existing clients to Empower. Team performs following activities:
    Payroll Implementation and Maintenance: Implementing payroll setup for mega and large client, including UAT and performing change request from client for an existing setup
    FSET: New File mapping, Money Type changes, Change File mapping, Load indicative data,
    Online Enrollment: Online Enrollment Setup, Online Enrollment Changes
    Activities performed by the team is highly time critical, involves regulatory & monetary impacts which required adequate due diligence, timely response to quires, timely escalation to responsible parties.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Primary responsibilities:
    • Must lead the team while achieving short and long term goals, both at individual as well as at team level
    • Must interact with the business partners and key stakeholder in meeting operational challenges and scheduled production activities
    • Responsible for the development of workforce by conducting regular coaching & feedback session based on performance measures and aspirational objectives
    • Ensure effective planning and execution of operations and has to reduce waste levels and achieve milestones and requirements of the organization
    • Performing daily BAU, Quality checks & audits for PTS (Activities are listed in overview section)
    • Follows-up with various stakeholders for timely resolution
    • Timely escalation for any delay or issue
    • Provide various input for team MIS reports
    • Initiate and participate in the quality improvement process (identifying opportunities for improvement, leading key initiatives for the department, and documenting procedures). Initiate and monitor special projects as needed
    • Responding to email questions
    • Participating in the on-shore call when need
    • Setup of Complex Payroll for all new clients or make changes to existing clients
    • Peer review and provide analysis of results of all payroll setup for newly converted clients
    • Audits payroll set up for existing clients
    • Complete quality control checks for team members updating and testing
    • Create and update procedures, checklists and test scripts

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:
    • Good understanding & work experience of 401(K) Defined contribution plan preferably with Payroll & Implementation/Conversion background
    • Excellent problem solving, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
    • 7-10 years financial operations (Preferred prior experience in Payroll & Implementation/Conversion background)
    • Degree from recognized university is must (Full Time)
    • Intermediate Excel and basic knowledge of Access & SQL
    • Flexible to work in US shift
