Position Highlights

Under general supervision, the PEA (Plan Expense Account) Payment Coordinator is responsible for timely and accurate processing of payments; has a clear understanding of requirements and system functionality for all Retirement Services lines of business that we support. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced team setting and can manage multiple priorities and meet all deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities

Primary Accountabilities:

50% - Responsible for coordinating the processing and reconciliation of complex transactions relative to third party payments, income and expenses and other payment related items associated with Great-West, FASCore and various Institutional Partners.

30% - Perform various tasks surrounding payment processing; responding promptly and accurately to internal requests received via e-mail, phone or Great-West tracking system; prepare both routine and non-routine written summaries that clearly articulate the issue, research completed and the final resolution.

10% - Reviews, maintains and manages time sensitive service request queue ensuring that work assigned is processed timely and accurately and within time standards; all follow up conducted within agreed upon timeframes; all documentation is included in the service request and meets all audit and quality control requirements.

10% - May participate in special projects; act as back up for other PEA Payment Coordinators; assist with training of new hires as needed; other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation is a must
Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Meet deadlines
Problem solver and independent thinker
Must be extremely organized and have a sense of urgency

One or more years of related experience preferred
Communication and customer service skills EASY, CIRRUS and SAP experience
Knowledge and experience with Word and Excel
