Position Highlights

Typically, part of the solution development team, the Solution Architect translates requirements created by functional analysts into the architecture for that solution and describing it through architecture and design artifacts. The rest of the development team then uses those artifacts to implement the solution. The Solution Architect's process typically involves selecting the most appropriate technology and options for the problem. Solution Architects play an important role in ensuring that the solution architecture aligns with the roadmaps established by the enterprise architecture, and that it adheres to the enterprise architecture principles.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design/Architecture of the product/solution
• Estimate cost, and prepare business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, development and support
• Work with the Project Managers and Bot Designers to develop high level project schedule resource plans for implementation projects
• Drive the adoption of best practices around coding, design, quality, performance in the team
• Exposure to a wide variety of technology problems and their solutions
• Lead in designing, specifying and selecting information system solutions, considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure and performance
• Provide Solution Architect support expertise to Sales and Implementation teams during the RFI/RFP and POC stages and help Sales and Implementation teams to draft the RFI/RFP responses
• o Participate in pre-sales client workshops to help shape best fit solution – by working closely with Sales and Implementation teams
• Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent applicable work experience
• Experienced in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products particularly in Infrastructure design, ERP, CRM, Network, Security. Minimum 5 years experience in programming (VB, C#, .NET, C++,etc) is a must
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Some experience of with working with board level stakeholders
• Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment
• Results oriented with ability to produce products that deliver organizational benefit
• Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude
Other desirable experience:
• Business Analyst experience
• Agile/Scrum methodology
• Six Sigma/PMP certification


BS in Computer Science or Btech/Mtech/MCA• Ability to work with stakeholders at onsite and translate business requirement into a technical solution. • Agile/Scrum exposure
